Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books by Philip C. Shelton from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, June-October 1966. Envelope 1 contains a field book that includes egg, nest, and chick counts; banding data (listing band numbers 642-03001 to 943-23000); and a plant list with species found on Sand Island. Envelope 2 contains a field book with bird counts; plot counts; sera lists; returns data (listed air day grass or air night grass); and banding data (listing band numbers to 743-73365 to 933-41301). Envelope 3 contains a field book with bird counts and banding data listing band numbers 535-00265 to 933-42599.
