This item contains data sheets from Vema cruise 21 from February 12 to December 08, 1965. These data sheets are accompanied by an oversized sheet (folded) with a data table entitled "Abstract of cruise legs voyage # 21". Also, included in front of the Vema 21 data sheets are PH readings from Vema cruises 16, 17, and 18 (dated 1963 and 1964). Some of the Vema 21 documents record Date, station number (and location), and a variety of sample numbers (core, SP, MPS, BPS-1, BPS-2, VP, VD, BT). Other Vema 21 documents record Date, time, temperature (probably surface), and coordinates. The data table is typewritten (ink is fading). It records the following information: Ports (port cities from and to), dates (from and to), DIBI, speed (kts), time (days and hours), and remarks. PH readings from Vema cruises 16, 17, and 18 record the following information: Sample number, "surface", type of sample, and PH reading.
