The second volume of the diary documents Waldo Schmitt's work during the Hancock Pacific-Galapagos Expedition, 1935. The dates covers January 20 - February 20, 1935. Entries are dated. Subject matter covers daily events, activities in port, collecting activities (dredging); interactions with participants; and anchorages. The locations in the vicinity of Ecuador including Isla Gorgona and Playa Blanca.
