This record refers to 5 field books by N. H. Heryford, Alan H. Anderson, Cameron B. Kepler, and Charles A. Ely during their work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Sand Island,1965. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Norman Heryford that includes lists of Berlese samples; lists of mice data; banding data (listing numbers 514-78008 to 793-50199); observations of eggs and nests; and number charts (numbers 4-6). Envelope 2 contains a field book by Alan H. Anderson that includes banding data (753-10114 to 753-98279); bird counts; nest counts; egg counts; and plot data. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Cameron B. Kepler that includes Sooty Tern chick number charts (numbers 4-6); plot charts (numbers 1-3); egg data (including measurements and location); and plot data and notes. Envelope 4 contains a field book by Cameron B. Kepler that includes banding data (with band numbers 535-13597 to 823-38300); plot data; list of rectal temperatures; nest counts; and mortality data.
