Abstract

This silent film includes footage from a trip to British Guiana, possibly documenting a field trip of William M. Mann and Lucile Quarry Mann. Footage taken in British Guiana depicts birds on a riverbank; birds in trees; a man taking photographs from a boat; boys fishing with nets; boats moored on riverbank; and a boy on a horse. The film is in color and runs 22.2 minutes long. Users can view this film from the reference copy on VHS at videotape player counter number 880, after footage of Dr. Mann's hippo transfer; Bobette tiger cub in the Manns' apartment; and interior of the Elephant House at the National Zoological Park. The reference copy also includes other films, mostly taken at the National Zoological Park.
