Abstract

This record refers to 4 field books of unknown authors from work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Kure Island, February-June 1969. Envelope 1 contains a field book with bird, nest, and egg counts; observations of birds and seals; egg measurements; burrow descriptions; banding data (listing band numbers 587-91741 to 767-95800); and weather and climate observations. Envelope 2 contains a field book with bird counts; bird, seal, and turtle observations; nest observations and data; egg measurements; and banding data (listing band numbers 597-50388 to 943-88600). Envelope 3 contains a field book with bird counts; nest observations and data; egg measurements; and banding data (listing band numbers 587-85811 to 767-49927); and weather observations. The fourth field book (no envelope) consists of banding lists with band numbers 587-51405 to 887-07858.
