Correspondence exchanged between Waldo Schmitt and offices of the Smithsonian Institution discuss his work at Tortugas Laboratory Trips, 1930-1932. Subject matter includes daily administrative business; collecting, processing, and transportation of specimens; staff movements; purchasing and sending of supplies for fieldwork; and materials for making film about his work in the field.
