Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books of Paul W. Woodward and 1 field book of R. L. Brownell, Jr., from their work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Kure Island, June-August 1968. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Paul W. Woodward with nest and egg counts; and banding data (listing band numbers 773-19467 to 913-73213). Envelope 2 contains a field book by Woodward with chick and egg counts; maps of roosts; nest measurements; and egg measurements. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Woodward with egg counts; egg measurements; nest measurements; and roost maps. Some banding data is also included (band numbers 587-85660 to 767-47479). Envelope 4 contains a field book by R. L. Brownell, Jr. with seal data and counts; and descriptive field notes on seal behaviors.
