This field book contains a few pages of a catalogue of specimen numbered 2727-2803 which Chittenden collected or which was collected by others and numbered according to Chittenden's directions between approximately 7 April 1914 to November 1917. Chittenden and his colleagues collected Lepidoptera (including Noctuidae), Hemiptera (including Aphididae), Hymenoptera (including Braconidae), and other possibly other insect groups, many or all of which are parasitic. Collecting took place in the United States, Argentina, and possibly other locations. Some frequently recorded locations in the United States include Kansas, Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland, California, and Texas. Other locations not recorded in this description are included.
