Abstract

This record refers to 4 field books of Paul W. Woodward from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Kure Island, May-July 1968. Envelope 1 contains a field book with bird and egg counts; banding data (listing band numbers 667-39202 to 767-50730); descriptions of birds and nestlings; and some small drawings and diagrams. Envelope 2 contains a field book with bird, nest, chick, egg counts; corresponding maps showing areas data was collected; notes with bird and nest descriptions; and lists of banding data (with numbers 587-52715 to 767-50721). Envelope 3 contains a field book with bird, nest, and egg counts; physical descriptions of birds; some drawings of birds; and band data (listing band numbers 587-84327 to 767-50985). Envelope 4 contains a field book with bird, nest, and egg counts; bird and nest descriptions; and diagrams of roosts.
