Abstract

This record refers to 5 field books of Paul W. Woodward from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Kure Island, June-August 1967. Envelope 1 contains a field book with banding data lists (band numbers 793-20075 to 913-93300). Envelope 2 contains a field book with banding data lists (band numbers 793-23541 to 913-99679). Envelope 3 contains a field book with banding data lists (band numbers 587-80857 to 903-19409). Envelope 4 contains a field book contains narrative field note entries describing nesting areas, and observations of birds, eggs, and turtles; bird and egg counts; egg measurements; and several maps and diagrams, possibly of nesting sites. The fifth field book (not in an envelope) contains nest descriptions; egg measurements; observations of birds; and bird counts.
