Other localities include: Santa Barbara, Sierra Santa Monica, San Gabriel Mountains, Sonoma county, Napa county, Marin county, Mount Diablo, Santa Susana Mountains, Los Angeles, "Mountains N. of Santa Cruz",and "Hills W. of Orestimbra Cañon". Specimen no. 1-1358 are represented in the book. Data typically include scientific name, locality, elevation, date of collection, and often contains narrative description of growing conditions.
