This item refers to 5 field books of Richard L. Maze, T. James Lewis, and Ralph W. Schreiber from their work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Kure Island, 1966. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Richard L. Maze that includes bird counts; blood sample lists; and banding notes and data (listing band numbers 514-76680 to 903-09460). Envelope 2 contains a field book by Richard L. Maze that includes bird and seal counts; dolphin observations including drawings and measurements; banding and returns data (listing band numbers ); and a blood sample list. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Ralph W. Schreiber that includes bird counts; banding data (listing band numbers 605-21174 to 913-82678); egg measurements (length and width); and field notes describing adult birds behaviors towards chicks. Envelope 4 contains a field book by Ralph W. Schreiber that includes observation and collection notes; banding notes and data (listing band numbers 587-52715 to 903-14800); and bird counts.
