Abstract

This item is primarily comprised of specimen lists from Bailey's plant and animal observation and collection endeavors in the Adirondack Mountains of New York state from April 14, 1932 to April 21, 1932 and from Mexico and California from October 18, 1932-January 7, 1933. Dated specimen lists typically note locality, sometimes including elevation, and scientific or common name. Localities in Mexico include Corralitos, Chihuahua; Ramosa; Sonora Valley, Oputo, Sonora; "Costa Rica Ranch", Hermosillo, and Magdalena. Entries in California and Mexico are the product of Bailey's research on deer in these regions.
