Abstract

Numbered 139, the five pages of notes are Charles D. Walcott's observations of sandstone and limestone deposits at a site near from Gould's Limestone Quarry, one mile north of Macopin Lake [Echo Lake], near Passaic, New Jersey. He includes sketches and notes describing the conglomerate geological formation running through the area near Copperas Mountain and Green Pond Mountains.
