Abstract

This item is comprised journal entries written by Bailey during his travels through Nevada and Oregon from June 22-July 22, 1927. For specimen lists see Box 4 Folder 7 of the same collection. Localities include: Jordan Valley, Malheur Valley (now known as Malheur Canyon), Klamath Falls, Blitzen Valley, Rogue River Valley, Owyhee Valley (now known as Owyhee Canyon ), Fallon and Winnemucca. Entries in describe the collection of bat and rodent specimens and includes a list of plants of the Owyhee Valley. Includes detailed descriptions of various bat caves.
