Abstract

This item consists of the unbound field notes of D. I. Hoff, Frank Smith, Dennis L. Stadel, and F. C. Thompson from their work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Moku Manu, 1967. The field notes of D. I. Hoff include bird, nest, and egg counts with tally marks; observations of birds and small mammals; a hand-drawn map of Sooty terns on Christmas Island; and a list of banding data (numbers 767-534201 to 767-53300). The notes of Frank Smith include descriptive observations of bird nesting behaviors. The notes of Dennis L. Stadel include bird counts indicated with tally marks. The notes of F. C. Thompson include bird counts indicated with tally marks; and a list of chicks with data (numbers 1-400).
