Includes a hand written and typed copy of the chronology documenting Waldo Schmitt's work during the Walter Rathbone Bacon Traveling Scholarship Expedition to the West Coast of South America, 1926-1927. Chronology covers August 19, 1926 - June 7, 1927. It details departure and arrival dates, basic descriptions about activities at each destinations, colleagues met with, and forms of travel. Locations in South American include the vicinity of (but not limited to) Guayaquil, Ecuador; Paita, Salaverry, and Callao, Peru; Valparaiso, and Talcahuano, Chile; and Falkland Islands.
