Abstract

This item consists of the unbound field notes of David L. Burckhalter, J. H. Fitch, Robert L. Pyle, and unknown authors during their work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Manana Island in 1967 and 1968. The first set of unbound field notes, of unknown author, contain hand-drawn maps and bird and island observations. David L. Burckhalter's notes include chick and egg counts. The field notes of J. H. Fitch include chick and egg counts; egg measurements; nest surveys; banding data and notes; and descriptive field entries. The field notes of Robert L. Pyle include a list of live shipment specimens and brief field notations.
