Abstract

This 148 page field book contains field notes from 22 June 1935 to 1 December 1936 during Blackwelder's trip to Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and several islands in the Caribbean. During this trip, Blackwelder collects beetles (Coleoptera) and possibly other insects. Specific localities, some elevations, and descriptions of environmental surroundings of specimen are also included. Blackwelder visits several specific locations, which are numbered as stations 1 to 344. Blackwelder visits numerous locations within Puerto Rico, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, St. Thomas, St. Vincent, Trinidad, St. Augustine, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Croix, and possibly other islands in the Caribbean.
