Also included are Wedge-tailed shearwater nest descriptions; several pages of species accounts; general notes; and lists of bands issued and bands used (band numbers 625-31309 to 645-19286). The field notes of F. C. Thompson include hand-drawn maps and field notes. The field notes of Frank Smith include a hand-drawn map of the main crater on Manana Island; field note entries; chick and egg counts; a molt data table; and bird banding data. Also included are burrow description tables that include burrow number, size, contents, and vegetation type. D. I. Hoff's field notes indicate the teaming and areas covered by personnel on Manana Island. Also included are several hand-drawn maps that indicate bird colonies, vegetation, and topography. Tables of Sooty tern densities include colony, sample, flotation criteria, and other notations. R. W. Tuxson's field notes include a hand-drawn map of nesting areas on the north-side slope of Manana Island. Also included are narrative observations and bird and egg estimates from the survey.
