Abstract

Waldo Schmitt was a recipient of the Walter Rathbone Bacon Traveling Scholarship. The third of three volumes documents his work during the Walter Rathbone Bacon Traveling Scholarship Expedition to the East Coast of South America, during October 27, 1925 - February 1, 1926. Subject matter discusses weather, collecting efforts and sites, specimens, interactions with colleagues, personal and professional details. Locations appear to be throughout Uruguay and Brazil.
