Abstract

These field notes document Hubbard's investigations into insects causing damage to fig trees and caprifigs (inedible figs). The notes are dated 28 March to 15 May of an unknown year. The notes were possibly taken in California (a reference is made to Fancher Creek). Hubbard collects mostly insects referred to as "Bl" during this investigation. Beetles (Coleoptera) and thrips (Thysanoptera) are also mentions.
