Abstract

The Report, written by Waldo Schmitt, describes "character of fishing grounds, especially those for halibut, the abundance of fish thereon and the season at which they occur." The report discusses voyages of the Albatross, operations, facilities, and approaches of fisherman in areas of Grays Harbor, Tillamook Bay, Newport, Heceta Bank and Coos Bay in Oregon. Also includes details about a variety of other fish in the area.
