Abstract

The item is comprised of one bound catalog of Mexican phanerogams (now more commonly known as spermatophytes) and vascular cryptogams (plants that reproduce using spores) collected by "Brother G. Arsène and other Brothers of the Christian Schools" compiled in 1926. Specimens were collected by Arsène and others from 1906-1914 in the Mexican states of Puebla, Michoacán, Nuevo León, Coahuila, Querétaro, Tlaxcala, and the Federal District. Entries consist of scientific name, locality, and date of collection.
