Close
PrintThis field book contains a narrative account of Hubbard's collecting trip to Arizona from 4 December 1896 to 4 April 1897. His descriptions of collecting often note the specific location (including geological features) he collected and on what surface the insect was found on (e.g. in or on a plant, under a log, on the ground). Insects collected include but are not limited to beetles (Coleoptera), scales and other Hemiptera, and Diptera. Locations Hubbard collected in include Fort Grant, Stockton's Pass, Wilcox, and possibly other locations in Arizona.
