Abstract

This record refers to 2 field books from the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, Leewards-Midway, July 1966, documenting bird banding activities on Midway Islands. Envelope 1 includes a field book by R. S. Heiden that includes bird banding lists (with band numbers 535-15877 to 943-64000) from work conducted on Eastern Island and Sand Island. Envelope 2 includes a field book by T. James Lewis from his work on Eastern Island. It includes bird banding lists with band numbers 643-49624 to 913-92841 and some field notes.
