Abstract

This item includes data regarding Bailey's collection and observation of flora and fauna in Oregon and North Dakota from February 29-April 14, 1916. Dated lists of specimens typically identify specimens by genus and often by species. The notebook contains many entries regarding Canis lupus, gray wolves (particularly Canis lupus campestris) and Canis latrans, coyotes. Specimen lists begin in the vicinity of Bismarck, North Dakota and end near Klamath Falls, Oregon.
