Abstract

This item includes Bailey's plant and animal specimen lists from his research in and around Yellowstone National Park from February 29-April 14, 1916 including many localities near "Buffalo Ranch". The field book also contains specimen lists from various localities in California from September 4-October 3, 1916. Dated lists of specimens typically identify specimen by genus and species. The field book also includes some narrative descriptions regarding weather conditions and localities.
