First sections refers to planting, harvesting, and processing grain. Includes lists of birds observed in the Orcas Island, descriptions of daily activities, sailing conditions, names and activities of Survey participants. Also includes calculations. Some pages are difficult to read because of faded writing. Locations include the San Juan Islands in Puget Sound of Washington.
