Abstract

This item consists of memoranda books of Dennis L. Stadel from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in 1967. The memoranda books include field notes and banding lists for work conducted on Pearl and Hermes Reef and Gardner Pinnacles in May and June of 1967 as part of Leewards Survey 19. Included are nest, egg, chick and bird counts; seal counts; and plant lists. A list of nests with measurements and checklist, possibly of materials found in or near the nests (seaweed, bone, feathers, etc.), can be found in the field book in Envelope 4.
