Abstract

This item consists of typed notes regarding unnumbered botanical specimens observed or collected by Applegate in Oregon from May 15 to September 17, 1898. Notes are organized chronologically and provide scientific name and locality as defined by place name and often by also by elevation. The item also includes narrative descriptions. Localities are often described by county and include: Jackson, Marion Clackamas, Klamath, Wasco, Douglas, and Lane counties.
