Description

This collection is comprised of one volume of field notes compiled by William Harvey Brown and A.H. Brown from their botanical collecting efforts for the United States Eclipse Expedition from 1889-1890. The item contains no taxonomic data. Entries include specimen numbers and localities. Specimen numbers 1-284 are included. Localities include: Horta, Fayal, Azoris; Porto Grande, St. Vincent, Cape Verde Islands; Free Town, Sierra Leone; Elmina, Ashantee; Cunga, Angola; Cape Town [South Africa]; Saint Helena; and Ascension Island.
