Description

This collection is comprised of two plant catalogs compiled by Nathaniel Lord Britton and Joseph Nelson Rose on the Mimosaceae and the Caesalpiniaceae of "Northern South America." Specimens were collected from 1805-1922 in Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Guatemala, Ecuador, French Guiana, Dutch Guiana (now known as Suriname), British Guiana (now known as Guyana), Bolivia, Jamaica, Trinidad and at various other locations.
