Description

This collection consists of three field books Frederick Knab created during field research dated between 1885 and 1909. The field books document a collecting trip along the Brazilian Amazon River in 1885 to collect butterflies (Lepidoptera), and collecting trips to Massachusetts, Florida, Mexico, Canada, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and El Salvador to collect mosquito larvae and possibly other insects between 1903 and 1909.
