Description

The collection contains the field notes of Robert F. Bolland, documenting his work with marine invertebrates in Okinawa [Japan], 1981 to 1991. The collection was created under the auspices of the Department of Invertebrate Zoology, National Museum of Natural History. Documentation was recorded on preprinted field data sheets, and work was completed in conjunction with the Smithsonian Oceanographic Sorting Center. Collecting that occurred does not appear to be limited to specific types of invertebrates.
