Description

This accession consists of logbook that documents the observations and work of staff, volunteers, and visiting researchers at Carrie Bow Cay Research Station, located on an island off the coast of Belize. The volume covers 1999 to 2010. It includes entries from numerous individuals, containing text as well as many original drawings and watercolors of wildlife as well as images of the island and marine environment. The research station is the base for field operations of the Caribbean Coral Reef Ecosystems (CCRE) Program, and part of the Smithsonian Marine Station at Fort Pierce.
