Description

The collection documents the field work of Jean Milton Berdan, 1941 - 1987 and undated. Much of the work was conducted while she was working for the U.S. Geological Survey. The field books often include detailed observations of terrain organized in numbered lists. Some appear to include USGS assigned numbers. Much of the work occurred in New York, Maryland, Virginia, Wyoming, Montana, and other parts of the American West.
