Description

The field books document the work of Robert B. Neuman, 1948 - 1999, primarily during his time with the U.S. Geological Survey. Much the field work occurred in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and vicinity of Penobscot county in northern Maine. Also contains the field notes of assistants (John R. Griffin, John Duane, S. David Berger) who worked with him in Maine.
