Description

The collection is documents the work of J. Edward Hoffmeister during his time with the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum in Honolulu, Hawaii, 1928, 1934, 1939. Hoffmeister conducted field work in Tonga, the Cook Islands, and Fiji. Some work was conducted in conjuction with Harry S. Ladd.
