Description

The collection contains the field books of Ray S. Bassler and document this field work, 1899 to 1961. The field work was conducted during his years with the U.S. Geological Survey. Much of the work was completed in Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.
