Description

Materials include field notes, maps, and slides documenting Suzanne Ripley's field work pertaining to the Smithsonian Elephant Survey and the Smithsonian Primate Survey in which Dr. Ripley participated, largely in Southeast Asia, and especially Ceylon [Sri Lanka] between 1962 and 1972. Includes extensive daily observations of primate behaviors and interactions.
