Description

This collection is comprised of one field book documenting Blankinship's collection efforts in Montana in 1890. The first page of the notebook reads, "Botanical notes of J.W. Blankinship collecting on the Big Horn River near Blakely (Custer) Montana. 1890.". The field book also includes a hand drawn map and contains Blankinship's narrative description of the general geography of the collection locality.
