Description

This collection contains 1 field book by Owen Bryant and William Palmer, originally maintained by the Division of Birds. This notebook is a listing and description of bird specimens in the British Museum collection. No dates or localities are provided, but these specimens were presumably collected by Bryant and Palmer in Java (Jawa), Indonesia, around 1909. Entries include descriptions of birds by sex, physical measurements, and coloring. Some additional miscellaneous notes are present, as well as some sketches.
