This collection is comprised of 6 books of field notes taken by Allen during his collecting endeavors in Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, El Salvador, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia from 1936-1961. The collection contains a book which is comprised of an identification list for the specimens collected at these locations.
