Description

This collection contains 22 field books on birds collected by William Palmer, originally maintained by the National Museum of Natural History, Division of Birds. Documents range from 1836-1921, and include such localities as the United States, Canada, Cuba, Indonesia, Belize, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. Included within this collection are field notes and catalogs of bird and mammal specimens, black-and-white photographs, manuscripts, and other miscellaneous notes and materials.
