Description

This collection consists of 3 field books by Ernest Reeves Sohns, documenting botanical collecting activities in the United States and Mexico, 1946-1955. The field books include lists of plants collected by Sohns with collector numbers 1 through 1730. Entries include collector number, scientific name, locality and date. Occasionally, notes on habitat or abundance/rarity are included. Locations in the United States include: Ohio, Indiana, Georgia, Florida, and Virginia.
