Description

This collection consists of the field notes of Albert C. Smith from collecting work in Fiji and Guyana. The materials include plant lists, journal entries, correspondence, and determinations. Smith collected botanical specimens in Fiji in 1933-1934 and 1953, in the West Indies in 1956, and British Guiana (now Guyana) in 1937 and 1938. The notes from Guyana are from Smith's time serving as a botanist on the Terry-Holden Expedition.
