Description

This collection consists of the field notes of Edward Palmer from collecting trips to Mexico from 1890 to 1910. Palmer's field notes tend to be very descriptive, and include ethnobotanical notes with references to local names for plants as well as local uses for plants as medicine, food, or tools. Palmer collected anthropological artifacts during his trips as well, but the notes in this collection only represent Palmer's botanical collecting.
