Description

This collection contains a field book containing a specimen list of botanical specimens Alice Carter Cook collected in Gran Canaria and Tenerife from 30 November 1893 to January 1894, and February to October 1897. Collector numbers 1-1132 (and label for 1034) are included. Specimen numbers 1000+ are separated from previous numbers and given the heading "Tenerife." Cook's notes include taxonomic names of specimens, locations, and a brief description of the type of environment in which the specimen was found. Locations Cook collected in include, but are not limited to, Guia, Los Telos, Mogan, Tafira, San Mateo, and Las Mercedes.
